My husband and I visited for the time this evening and had a great experience! We started with a California roll and was amazed by the freshness. Looking forward to trying more of their sushi menu next time. We both got the steak and chicken dinner at the Hibachi grill and the steak melted in our mouths. Perfectly cooked! The cook was very skilled and entertaining as well. Great experience and looking forward to coming back with family and friends.
I want to personally thank this establishment for giving me such a fun birthday dinner. First of all, that fried rice is 5 stars all the way. We sat with some interesting strangers. Everyone's in a good mood. Our teppanyaki chef was super chill and funny. Everything was delicious. After making a silly scene of singing me happy birthday, they took our picture, printed it out for us, and gave us a $10 off coupon. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We went in here on whim. Who knew! Honestly so much fun
This is one of the best sushi places in town. We loved Wayne. The seafood was so fresh!! I only go to certain restaurants. This is now part of my rotation. You will not be disappointed. I do wish they would upgrade the plates, serving dishes, etc... no matter. I'm in!!
Previously called Japon, Kobe had very big shoes to fill and I must say, I wasn't disappointed. Service was excellent with server and the hibachi chef, who was very personable and entertaining. Onion soup was fabulous, and the salad with ginger dressing was okay. I am accustomed to a vinaigrette style and this one was creamy...not bad just different. Ordered a California and Shrimp Tempura rolls which were delicious, however took over twenty minutes to come out. The waitress provided us a 10$ off coupon for the delay, how nice! The shrimp and New York strip with fried rice was delicious, good quality and well cooked beef, and fresh shrimp served up with perfectly seasoned fried rice. The grilled veggies were also yummy. I would definitely recommend, and will be back...soon!

Celebrated a birthday at Kobe Teppan today. Not going to talk about my meal ( which was good) but my experience. I enjoy watching my food cooked and prepared in front of me. Heat and smells coming from the flat top are so enticing. Our cook of course was entertaining. I like the idea of sitting at a communal table, watching flames and the sizzling of proteins flirting with my senses. Food is a huge part of our culture and I personally would love to see more establishments embrace this type of dining experience. This really goes back to open fire cooking of our common past.
